Supplemental Support for People with Intellectual and Mental Health Challenges
Our board members recognized that people with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions often have nowhere to turn for things they need - like glasses, legal advocacy, medical equipment, and adapted devices. We conduct fundraising activities to help people in these populations gain access to necessary supports, to increase their quality of life.
WOW also partners with other agencies to maximize our impact. Organizations we have donated equipment to include Mobile Rehab Engineering (a division of the Department of Behavioral Health and Disability Services that repairs and repurposes specialty medical equipment), and Positive Behavior Supports Plus.
